Ladies, how did you get into DP...how did you prepare?

We are a couple new to the lifestyle. My better half is very excited about the prospect of trying DP for the first time, but she is also apprehensive about it. Can you offer any advice on how to prepare, physically and mentally so that first time will be a pleasant experience for her?
