Can anyone tell me why – when I open my Hotlist page on here, I’m kicked off line so to speak, and then have to log on again?

hi,
the screen would go faint, and i'd get a message - windows as stopped working, and then i'd have to log back in. this only happend when i tried to open certain pages.
since then, i'd discovered my cd drive was not working, and i had it replaced, since then - the wasw message has resolved it's self?
