With respect, I think you need to be more patient. Before I started advertising on this site about a year ago, I had had Ads up on other sites for about 5 years, and after I had begun to advertise, it took me well over a year before I got any sort of concrete response. As you can appreciate, the competition is very severe for single male advertisers, unless you are pretty exceptional. Therefore it pays to give yourself maximum exposure by advertising on other sites as well as this one (if you are serious enough to fork out the fees that would allow you decent 2-way communication). Also I think you need to have a fairly light-hearted approach to it. Dont be so desperate ! Obviously if you are typing away feverishly sending applications willy-nilly to all and sundry till the wee small hours, then youre going to get jaded pretty quickly. Try to be selective and realistic in your expectations, and in the meantime try to meet women in more conventional ways too. Something WILL eventually turn up.
Having said that, I have to be frank in saying that in comparison with some other well known sites, Ive found that DD seems to have a much higher proportion of dead-ends and time wasters. I was initially encouraged by the large number of unsolicited responses I got after my Ad first went up, but ultimately all of these fizzled out and came to nothing. Ive lost count of the number of times Ive been contacted by apparently enthusiastic women/couples requesting pics and dying to meet, to which I have responded politely and intelligently, only to receive no further communication. However, being the optimistic soul that I am, I keep plugging away.
Im not conceited, but sometimes I wonder what more some people could possibly want from a prospective sex partner. I can only conclude that in order to have a regular swingers schedule, one would require a body-builders physique, three PhDs and a 13-inch penis. Either that, or most DD advertisers are looking for guys with bad tattoos, a beer belly and an IQ of 52, and prefer one-line e-mails along the lines of Feelin orny fancy a shag?? However, I know that this kind of sex dating DOES work because Ive been fortunate enough to have some sporadic success via other sites. So dont give up its early days yet J
