A reply for a future meet-up means I'll wait for them to send me a message.
A follow-up message invite is done after a week to a month of waiting.
No means no. I don't have to make a big deal out of it and insult anyone for the rejection. They have particular tastes. I have particular tastes. Rejection is understandable and part of the game. I'd rather stroke my cock than my ego.
Besides, sex is better when both parties want to be with each other... not forced.
When I reject an invitation I usually am honest about things without being insulting (or at least I try not to be insulting). I usually have canned replies like: "Sorry but I'm strictly straight. I'm only interested in women," "Sorry but I have to see both your pictures before I can say I'm interested," and "Really sorry, I'm not interested."
Sometimes I do hurt someone's ego. We all react differently when it comes to rejections. When I receive an insulting reply because I rejected them, it's best not to reply back and block them. It's a waste of time to fight anyone for something so trivial anyway.
This is all just for fun and mutual benefit. Sometimes we meet wonderful people, sometimes not. Sometimes we get laid, sometimes we experience drought.
