During one of our intimate moments, my partner and I got to talking about sexual preferences. Butter (the female half of Couple ButterSauce) mentioned that she is bi-opportunistic.
It was the first time I had heard of the term, especially since there appears to be no official category of it here on The Hub or elsewhere.
She went on to explain that she was no longer bi-curious because she had already experienced play with other members of her sex. She didn't want to call herself bi, either, considering that being intimate with either sex was not something she strictly "preferred." For her, it was more of an opportunity to be created/seized and enjoyed for its own worth and sake rather than a preference. Thus, she created a new expression of her own--one that fit her quite well.
If there's one good thing that came out of the discussion, it's that I came to a new appreciation for my partner. We joked that perhaps we should send in a suggest to the site admins to add this new category to the profile details section.
