The quirks of erogenous zones.....

Debrose, from my knowledge i haven't encountered this subject in blogland but i am sure one of the other bloggers will correct me on that but i dare not delve into the blog archives again, not sure my frayed nerves could withstand another excursion there.

An ostrich feather used lightly in various places usually teases out some of the more unusual erogenous locations.
Inner thighs, backs of the arms, lower buttocks and small of the back; nowhere to sensitive as you don't want your partner in fits of laughter.
The use of a blindfold helps build the rension and lets you tease your unsuspecting partner.

I think you have to make a distinction between an erogenous zone (which when stimulated turns someone on) and an erotic zone (which is a visual turn-on to the observer). The nape of a woman's neck revealed above the kimono was, and still is, considered attractive and erotic in Japan, but has been largely superseded by what is revealed by western clothing, and that means most of the features that are considered erotic in the West too.

I once saw a tongue in cheek "map" of male erogenous zones, and basically it was a circular and symmetrical target with the "bull's eye" located over the glans penis. I think the "author" of the map was trying to suggest that males are pretty simple creatures to understand, whereas the sensual topography of the female tends to be a little more complex :-)

I was thinking about the various erogenous areas suggested thus far, the ear lobe had not been mentioned but worthy of inclusion.
