I usually convince myself that I just want sex.
I feel I should expand on the sex comment. It doesn't mean I'm devoid of love. I just cannot take relationships seriously. At forty, having truly loved, and known too the pain at the end of love, times over, I just cannot take it seriously anymore. It's a beautiful, absurd, lost sort of feeling. I mean I function, I live my life, I try to live my dreams, always gravitate towards fun and adventure, never try to cop out, live madly but honestly......but I just have no idea what the relevance of a relationship is anymore. Not in a gloomy way. Really, and truly, I have absolutely no idea. :)
And, obviously, I'm looking for a girl who's in the same space.
For all the right reasons. Or at least have fun while we discuss the right reasons.
