The Sith are not entirely lawless, selfish creatures. They have an organizational goal set forth by Darth Bane. That goal is to obtain power. Each Sith is largely selfish and power hungry. But, they serve the idea of seeking power more than their own power. Thus, even if it means the risk or destruction of an individual Sith, if the Sith as a whole becomes more powerful, they support it, at least in principle. So, would you be my apprentice?
