I'm single.. College grad. Military veteran. Always had an active, outdoors lifestyle until the knees gave out. Now I improvise. But I'm not a cripple or wheelchair bound by any stretch. Just no more 5 mile runs. Anything outdoors I'm up for. I'm into history, maps. numbers, and learning new things every day, be it fact, factoid, or just trivial curiosity. I will close with this: Since I have begun this quest, 3 societal assumptions and stereotypes have repeatedly repeated themselves because my age starts with a 6. Those 3 assumptions are that I'm either dead or dying or have a pile of money to waste away. NONE of those 3 things are true. I'm very much alive with a working class lifestyle and simply a man looking for a woman to share the rest of his life with. A simple quest, one would think. Time will tell.
