OK, here goes....my esoteric outlook on life is to live it to the fullest, do all you can do and die knowing you have done what you have wanted to do without any regrets - death has many guises and you have a partial choice in which one you want to wear. I am the alpha and the omega - I am who I am today because of every experience I have been through in my life, and with each new occurrence I get stronger and each time I grow. So far, I can say that I have pretty much accomplished 70% of my goals out of life, and I am always shooting for more whether it be for a challenge or just for fun. I am adventurous and daring, I will give my best to try anything at least twice - you won't get bored around me because I can keep you laughing, or at least you can get a laugh watching me laugh at myself. I am unique in my own kind of way I am witty and sarcastic and I like people who can hold their own around me, but not take it to heart when I am joking with them. I like to be kept on my toes but I don't like to be taken for rides. I consider myself to be strong minded and can pull through almost any difficult situation or trying time (it is said to be character building...), I have been through many experiences in life, both good and bad, but I also believe that I have a lot to offer anyone who touches my life.
I am simplistic, love to have fun and hold true to my passions be a zeal for sport, for a friendship or for a relationship (apologies - typical Scorpio). I am extremely dedicated and try and work at the best at whatever I do - it may not come naturally but I have the patience and determination to work at it until I get to where I want to be. I am okay with not being the best, I don't try to impress anyone though I may like to be the centre of attention at times; this isn't to be confused with arrogance or being a show off, it just comes with my nature and the way I'm wired. I am humble but I also like to spoil myself if and when I get the chance. I view myself as level headed, I don't like people who criticise - it's an easy habit to acquire, an impossible one to break and it robs the soul of character. Pride has also (in my opinion) never been a virtue; there are on some occasions on which it is prudent to remain silent. I believe I am honest, we all have a history - some a lot darker than others - but it's what you do now and in the future that counts. All I ask for is honesty and respect, and in return you can always expect the same from me. I ride. I am always riding in my free time whether it's on a windsurfer, the snowboard, on a race track or road. Two wheels is my primary release in life pull on a crash hat, hit the start button and problems melt away. Come ride with me and see that reality is in fact, virtual. Unfortunatly, I used to ride semi-professionally on track and while I don't race any more, bikes are still a big part of my life. However, I have just taken up the current mid-life crisis sport of MTB'ing so am learing to hurt myself that way instead.
I am reasonably eloquent, enjoy a glass of wine every now and then (don't like beer or larger or pub scene) with a home cooked meal - I rustle up a mean beans and cheese on toast when not eating medeterraian food. Fitness has always been good for racing - I play squash (used to play county level), windsurf and MTB when time permits, I'm no gym rat but go several times a week for cardio stuff. Looking for someone to share some good times with and who has similar interests.
