The Downs is huge - you know that - if you go through the dips n dumps (for non- Bristolions, it's like a mini valley with a little path on it) that's opposite the water tower, and keep going on for ages. furhter in there are plenty of places to set up outdoor fun - I suggest you use a scrap of cloth and pin it to a tree to identify good spots.
