When you chase something, you create a gap between you and it. You make it seem like it's out of your reach. You put your happiness on hold until you get it.
But what if you never get it? What if it keeps eluding you? What if it's not what you really want?
You end up wasting your precious time and energy on something that doesn't fulfill you. You miss out on the joy of the present moment. You feel frustrated and dissatisfied.
That's why I believe happiness is not a destination, but a state of being. It's not something you find, but something you create. It's not something you chase, but something you embrace
