I am a professor at my day job and a secret revolutionary on the side. I teach U.S. and African-American history. If you asked the people who know me best they would say that I am a romantic soul rather in the nineteenth-century way. They would probably tell you that I am warm and funny, and I light up when I talk about my daughter. Those who have just met me usually find me a bit reserved, but it's really just shyness. I live a relatively settled life with my cat, Moultrie. I am over the bar scene, although I like going out and spending time with people. Extroverted introvert describes me pretty well. I try to enjoy the simple things and live thankfully.
I don't know that I can say I have a type. I tend to like women who read good books and who enjoy a hike or a camping trip. Curious minds appeal to me. I am looking for that woman who I would happily let have the last piece of bacon.
I try to learn from my mistakes and become a better person from them. If you get to know me, you will find that I am warm, affectionate, loyal, and a gentleman.
