I have tried life as a single adult, and I cant say I care much for it. I prefer to have a primary relationship to a woman that offers me the same love, adoration, and respect that I offer her.
I am looking for a life-mate (yes, I am interested in marriage. Why is that so hard to believe?)
I miss the closeness, and having someone to share the days (and nights) with. I miss coming home to "Hi Honey! How was your day? (KISSSSS)". Worse yet, I miss having a reason to come home!
I have recently decided that it is time I start looking for a younger woman - one who has not yet been "ruined" and jaded by men who are arseholes, and don't treat women with the love, dignity, and compassion they deserve.
I am also formulating certain specifics about what I am looking for in a committed, long-term relationship - and yes, I am indeed looking for that on THIS site, of all places.
I am a pretty easy-going guy that some people find funny, others find trite. I guess it all depends on how dry your sense of humor is.
I am warm and compassionate, and often get too deeply involved in the emotional connections with other people. Or at least "too deeply, too fast," and that sometimes tends to frighten women. I suppose because they are not used to a guy caring as much about them as I do. Perhaps it's a Scorpio thing.
I strive for but rarely attain perfection, and although I have my share of faults, most view me as pretty well rounded and successful.
I have lots of dreams and aspirations, some of which should already have come to pass, and likely would have, if I hadn't been so lousy at picking my partners, both in business and in relationships, but life is a journey, and we learn as we go along this journey.
I am SOOOO tired of hearing the following statement from women I am romantically interested in:
"You are too good to be true." Why is it that a decent, honest, caring, compassionate guy is totally unbelievable? I know why: Too many guys are completely selfish and unemotional, and only care about one thing.
Men do SO much damage to women - and most of the time, I end up finding a woman who USED to be exactly what I was looking for - in her PREVIOUS relationship - but because of "Mr. Used-To-Be-Right-but-turned-out-to-be-a-jerk" these women seem to change RIGHT before I meet them. (sigh)
I guess, when it comes down to it, I really don't like to blow my own horn - so if it's all the same to you, I'd rather just talk, email, or chat to get to know one another, rather than come up with some description of myself that might differ from yours of me anyway. It's always good to leave a little to the imagination.

If such a thing as the "ideal mate" could be found, she would be beautiful on the outside and on the inside. she would value traditional role-models - maybe even like the classic "50's housewife" who wears dresses and crinolines and aprons while dancing around the house doing her household chores, has a nice dinner, a warm smile, and a tender kiss ready for her husband when he comes home from work - who is the domestic goddess - and who doesn't mind being taken care of by her man, but at the same time is sexually adventurous and wants to explore her sexuality to it's fullest extent, including that special "adult playtime" with select friends from time to time - always together as a couple, never out solo.
I guess, in essence, I am looking for June Cleaver who "swings"... perhaps something of a contradiction in terms, but that's what I want nonetheless. I would probably settle for "June Cleaver who is a sexpot with her husband", but there are aspects of the lifestyle that are very appealing, and that in my experience can actually enhance a relationship, and make the bonds stronger and deeper.
Does such a woman exist in this day and age? Are there any women remaining who are intelligent, beautiful, sexy, but does not want to be "independent", but rather desires to be the home-maker while her husband supports the family - all the while enjoying sexual exploration and variety within the boundaries of only exploring together as a couple?
Well, I guess I'll just have to find out. There are alot of women in this world - I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least one who fit my criteria - somewhere - and who is just waiting to be swept off her feet.
Tall order? Perhaps - but you're out there somewhere, aren't you?
