The Softness of Her Lips

I have spent the last thirty+ years with women.

I can still remember my delight over the softness of her lips the first time I kissed a woman. I couldn't get enough - we wrapped ourselves around each other and just kissed for what seemed like hours... it was like a long drink of sweet, cool water after a day in the dry desert heat.

She was my first female love, and although it didn't last, I have never forgotten those tender but passionate first kisses.

We are still friends, and get together for coffee every so often. I have come to understand that what we enjoyed was "vanilla". I do love vanilla, but my tastes have -ahem- diversified since those early days...
