HOMOPHOBIA: Only Love matters
For those who don’t know what homophobia is, It is a dislike against
people who like/love people of same gender. According to a survey, still
more than half of the people in this world still are homophobic and think
that homophobia is a disease, and can be cured with some kind of
medicine or concentration camps. But before all this we must first ask
ourselves: Why do we hate them?, Why do we treat them like that?,
what is it that make us different from them. Lets dig in to these
questions one by one.
The only single biggest reason that we hate them is because they are
not like us, They don’t follow the rules that nature created(which is
actually the rules that we people only created), They just try to be
different. But we are all very single minded people. We never think in
their view. Whats normal for us is actually abnormal for them, What if
the rules they created were the rules of the nature, then we would all
have been different for them. Then we would have been sent to
concentration camps and would have been treated like patients who
has some very bad disease called “hetrophobia”. Wouldn’t that be
absurd.
Homophobia is just a word with literally no meaning because there
should be no word as such. This word is embedded in us since the time
we knew to differentiate who is a girl and who is a boy. Its always
happens such that if a boy is playing with a few bunch of girls, he is
called ‘girly' by his friends and if his parents find out then they wouldn’t
allow him to again go and play with those girls because this would
insult the parents ego. Now the boy is said that if he only behaves like a
man and plays with the other boys he can go and play. How would
these words effect a small boy. It would only make him think that if a
boy is behaving like a girl then he not to be played with. He is different
from us, He has a disease. From here comes the origin of homophobia.
We all love a person by the heart and by the personality that is
possessed in them. There is nothing as such that we should only love
or like a person of opposite sex. If we try to choose a person that we
don’t love in the pressure of the society, we would never be happy or
satisfied with our lives. So, it's very important that we be with the


person that we want to be with. Its only then that we would enjoy the
world to the fullest. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy and love a boy or
you are a girl and love a girl. All it matters that we live our lives the way
we want to. And so ultimately only love should matter not gender.
