The much sought after but elusive unicorn. Much has been written and even more debated about what is a true “unicorn”. As one, I find the discussion amusing and sometimes frustrating. This blog is an over simplification of what a true unicorn is about. Lets first discuss what a unicorn is not. A unicorn is not a simple threesome hookup that you can find at your local club or swinger site. A true unicorn does not have their own sexual agenda; like wanting to sexually experiment with a woman or just have sex with a couple. A true unicorn is typically not looking for a single nite hookup but it can be given the relationship. And obviously most unicorns are women. So what is a unicorn? I have made life long friends from being one and I can tell you as one I find great sexual pleasure from understanding what each person wants from their current relationship, identifying what I can do then being a person that helps move the relationship in a positive direction towards that goal. I would say I am part counselor and part sexual partner. The bottom line is a true unicorn wants to enhance the couples relationship. That takes honesty, patience and strength. I can’t cover everything in a blog but let me give you a story that helps illustrate what I mean. I had developed a relationship online with a couple then we met and talked. A couple weeks later I was asked to join them at a Eyes Wide Shut house party as their Unicorn. Although hesitant I agreed. As is typical at these parties there was another “unicorn” in attendance. She became involved with a number of couples that nite. Even though I was asked to join other couples I remained on the sideline watching the couple that asked me to the party. At one point the other unicorn joined my couple in a threesome. After a few moments the wife got up came to me and asked me to join them. I agreed. I quickly asked the other unicorn to leave and immediately knew what to do. I spent time with this couple and understood their desires. I can say it was a magical moment and others at the house party thought so too. It was more than sex. It was about creating a new connection between the couple that asked me to join them.
