Am I really a submissive?

I am having this problem for so many years. Although it turns me on so much to be at a woman's feet, my kneecaps hurt so bad when I kneel! If I can't even kneel, how on earth am I able to show my submissiveness?! To me, kneeling would just be an awkward punishment.
