I have a friend, T, who has been treated most cruelly for 35 of her 41 years by those from whom she should have expected only love and affection.
T has been reduced to a quivering mass of nerves. She has done everything humanly possible to pull herself off the ground.
T is barely standing.
She pretty much said that she trusts only me. T asked if I would be her Valentine.
Is she going to be surprised.
