So enough with the casual observations, get to the juicy parts. Have I actually met anyone from this site yet? Yes I did meet with someone, but sadly just for lunch. I met with a very attractive bored housewife but unfortunately I didn't really take her fancy. Still it was cool to realise that desperate housewifes in search of an illicit liaisons really do exist and weren't just the product of my overactive, watched one too many porn movies, imagination. When I went to meet her I walked into the bar imagining myself having the Coolness of Cary Grant, the grittiness of Bogart, maybe tinged with a little Gabriel Byrne, because women seem to like him and I'm Irish too. I even memorised the line Olivia Martinez says coolly to Diane Lane in the movie Unfaithful 'There is no such thing as a mistake. There are things you do, and things you don't do'. So you can imagine my surprise when I got an email the next day saying.
“I hope I didn't scare you?!? You did look worried quite a lot of the time.”
What!? WORRIED!?!, there's me thinking I was acting all cool, dark and handsome, while in reality it seems I was channelling Hugh Grant from Four Weddings and a Funeral - Oh bugger! Well, I'm going to put it down to first meet nerves, and besides, there are plenty of women out there who like Hugh Grant. Aren't there?? Anyone??
