Okay, this subject is NOT dealing with facial hair. My beard is mine, it's been in place for 40 years and it's not going away any time soon. This subject is about pubic hair. The body hair that evolution has left us with while the wholly hairy body of our ape ancestors has gone the way of the Dodo.

There is some research to say that pubic hair does have a purpose. Specifically, the primary benefit of pubic hair is its ability to reduce friction during sex.The skin in the area around the genitals is very sensitive. Pubic hair can also help stop bacteria and other microorganisms from entering the body. Specifically, it can help trap dirt and pathogens that may enter the body through the vagina or penis.

In my experience, pubic hair can trap sweat and odours, but is normally washed at least daily by those of us who like to be clean. Personally, I like a clean, at least trimmed female genital area. This allows the woman to show off her secret place to best effect and as an admirer of all types of labia, I like to see what's on offer. I also prefer not to interrupt oral sex to pick hair from my teeth.

I'm interested in the female opinion. Do women prefer their patch, and that of their sexual partner, to be free of hair, or is it preferable to be au naturale? What about the males reading this? What say you? What's your preference?
