Dom and Sub or Master and Servant?

When I think or the Master/Servant dynamic I immediately link it to BDSM. In my mind’s eye I see Dungeons, bondage, pain. Not that there is anything wrong with that and I understand many people enjoy it.
When I think of Dom/Sub though, I see a dynamic that can be more subtle, gentler and even more readily applicable to everyday situations. It’s hard to imagine a Servant going to work in full on bondage gear but a Submissive could easily demonstrate obedience and commitment to a Dom by non-invasive methods. For example, under your normal work attire could be a lack of underwear, or writing some favourite words on your body that are used during play. Things like Slut, Bitch come to mind. How delicious would it feel to have those words written on your body, concealed by your normal clothing, while chatting and working alongside your colleagues.
Simple things like making the hem of your dresses slightly shorter than you normally have, or coloured underwear showing through your clothes or a blouse undone just slightly more than you are comfortable with. All of these small actions can achieve the same effect. Even something as unassuming as bright red lipstick, worn in all circumstances, would work, especially if you would not normally use that shade. Naturally, you should always stay safe no matter what you agree to do.
The commitment to obedience does not have to be painful or humiliating in public. The small steps you take at the beginning of submission can be just as effective in creating arousal as complete humiliation. Indeed, the small actions you promise to do daily can multiply your level of excitement many times over in the long term.
Why not sit back and think about what small actions you can take to show obedience?
Enjoy!
