Dom and Sub - two peas in a pod?
It’s ironic that these two opposites are inextricably bound to each other. The Dom has a deep need to be in control, while the Sub yearns to be controlled. Separately they are consumed by frustration, yet joined together they become beacons of desire for each other. Simply put, one cannot exist without the other. Just as there can be no Left without Right or Up without Down, the two entities only reach fulfillment when they are working together. Not necessarily in a physical sense of course, but as a pair basking in the joy that the other brings.
The underlying factor for this situation is Consent.
Each individual Consents to the rights and needs of the other. When Consent is absent, the Dom cannot control the Sub, who in turn cannot grant control to a Dom. The Consent must be given freely and willingly by both parties, so that the bond between Dom and Sub can remain unbroken.
Separately each remains as they are, together they travel a road of joy and arousal.
