New Beginnings to Exploring Life

I've been a part of the lifestyle for a couple of years now and I couldn’t say that I've been very successful. But really, I've done a half ass job of putting myself out there in trying to meet new people. Perhaps I was afraid of being rejected. Or even worse, what if someone took me up on my offer. The idea of connecting with someone made me nervous to the point of making me nauseous. Could I make the commitment to put myself out there? Let's face it, when it comes to sex and sharing that kind of intimacy with others, you’re pretty much exposed to the world. But I've come to realize that life is passing me by and I'm ready to make the plunge and experience what life has to offer; especially here with all of you. I'm not totally about the sex, although it is a lot of fun, but I really do enjoy talking with others and learning how people think and what they believe in. I've started this blog in hopes maybe using it as a therapeutic tool to help me understand what I’m looking for in life and maybe connect me to a group of people who feel the same. Hopefully this is the beginning of a great experience. Not just for myself, but for all that I meet.
