How Do you Know If Someone Likes You, Without Them Saying Anything?

When communicating with another person, only a small percentage of what we actually say using our mouths is communicated. The leading majority of what is perceived is done through body language. So to learn how to talk to someone and read what they’re really saying back, you need to master how to speak with your body as opposed to your mouth and know what to look out for when talking to a member of the opposite sex.

Body Language to Watch out for in Men

Next time you’re speaking to the fella you like, discreetly check out his body language. Is he standing tall with his chest puffed out or hands on his hips? These are displays of masculinity and he is emphasizing his physical size like a peacock displaying it’s feathers.

Take a Seat

When you’re in a situation where you’re both sitting down, what does he do? Is he roosted on the brink of his chair as you speak? Look at his feet, are they facing toward you? Are his legs spread open with his crotch on display to you? All of these are signs he’s into you - by sitting on the edge of his seat he’s trying to be as close to you as possible and intrigued by what you’re saying. He’s opening his legs to parade his crotch to you and naturally we turn our feet toward something we’re interested in, so if he’s showing one or more of these actions the chances are he thinks you’re hot.

Face Value

How about facial expressions? When he sees you, do you notice a quick raise of the eyebrows? All humans do this when we see something we like. We don’t even necessarily know we’re doing it as it’s that brief. His eye contact is also one to watch for, if he holds your gaze for more than 3 seconds he’s definitely flirting with you, whether he’s aware of it or not. He may just be that captivated by you he can’t help but stare.

Body Language to Watch Out for in Women

Probably the most infamous female body language sign is the hair flick, women also play with and groom their locks when they’re around someone that they’re trying to impress. This subconsciously tells their associate that they want to look nice for them and is a good way of flirting. Another sensual couple of techniques a lady will utilize are nibbling her lower lip and gently touching her neck, the light contact against these two erogenous areas suggest the girl is into the male she’s focusing her attention on.

Feet First

When sitting down, does the lovely lady of your affections cross her legs and keep them firmly crossed? And/ or have her knees pointing away from your direction? If so, this isn’t such a good sign. When a woman is relaxed and sitting down she will occasionally cross and un-cross her legs and aim her knees in your direction if she’s interested in you.

Face it

What about her face? Flared nostrils, dilated pupils and raised eyebrows are all positive facial expressions of a woman who’s keen will convey. She may also touch her face, a sign she wants to touch yours but can’t so instead subconsciously acts it out.
