We’ve been dishing out the results of our 40-50 year old male and female sex and relationship survey and today we have more interesting results. This time we’re taking a look at work flings and finding out exactly what our members have got up to in the workplace.
Have you ever had a work fling and if so, what type of co-worker was it?
37% of our men have had a relationship with a general co-worker and 29% of our ladies too. The biggest difference was having a sexual relationship with one of our their subordinates; not a single lady had got down to business with one of their employees however 10% of the men had. Finally, 7% of men have had an encounter with their boss whilst 14% of the women had.
Have you ever had sex or been involved in a sexual act or at your place of work?
A close call, it turns out that 49% of our men have and 42% of our ladies have too.
Have you ever been caught in a sexual act at work?
It looks like most of our members got away with it. 15% of our ladies got caught and only 8% of our men did.
Would you ever consider having a fling with a person that you work with?
Here we asked if our members would get up to no good with a co-worker if they had the chance. 70% of our men said they would whilst only 43% of our women did.
Would you ever sleep with your boss if it meant that you would get a promotion?
A controversial question with not much of a difference between answers. 64% of our guys said that they would if it meant a promotion was in hand and 71% of our ladies did too.
Some interesting answers. It seems that the majority of us would consider sleeping our way to the top and a fair few have already got down and dirty in their place of work. Thankfully the statistics on getting caught are pretty low but it does seem that a large proportion are literally a work fling waiting to happen. Hopefully they can hold back for getting fruity in their place of work. If not, then we have some handy tips on getting up to no good in the office in an earlier article.
