Social network risks

Just a heads up. A person i chatted to on here came up as a ' people you may know ' suggestion on the popular social network site. No idea how, as i hadn't searched for them and didn't know their full name. I DON'T know what their privacy settings were, so maybe its possible to prevent this happening. Pretty random chance i suppose, but im sure some of you may want to keep this side of your life and social networking seperate. All the best.
