The men on this site are probably all too aware of this, but it should be said anyway. This site is a ladies’ market. I have no doubt they receive many more messages than I (or any other man) can imagine. And it takes time to go through them all and winnow them down to a select few and I can imagine there are times when one or another will simply throw up her hand cry "Enough," and stop before reading (let alone replying) to them all.
So guys, we have to be patient and tolerant. Remember, it is the Sub who ultimately picks the Dom.
That said, and with as much empathy as I can muster, in my working days I could easily read and respond to a huge inbox full. Why? Some were irrelevant and could be deleted; others needed only the shortest of replies; and the rest took as much time as was needed.
This should be true of the private messages the ladies receive.
Some of them can be ignored completely; some require, at best, a note saying "Thanks but no thanks;" and it is only those few look like they might be interesting or promising that require a greater effort and more time.
I, for one, would love the challenge of getting ten or twenty or fifty messages per day, just to see if I can actually handle that volume of mail. As it is, I am thrilled if I get one or two.
