It's a lot of things. Freedom without betrayal. Trust. Respect. All of them. In fact, if you follow the rules of your setup it's anything you want it to be. It's like having an open relationship in many ways, you meet up with a girl or boy, and you do what comes naturally. Not everyone understands it but not everyone is poly.
