Words can sometimes fail me (in having the desired effect)

10:24 am Thursday, 17th January, 2019

Now, I do find that the word one uses to describe items of lingerie does affect how, certainly I, feel about it.
For example I do think that the word 'Pantie' is much more sensual and evocative than 'Knickers'. If I buy these in a store I will only call them 'Panties' to the shop assistants.
Using the, as it were, correct name does expand my enjoyment of the moment.

Other words which I have opinions on are 'Stockings' and 'Nylons', 'Suspenders' and 'Garter Belts', 'Slip' and 'Vest', 'Bra' and 'Brassiere' and 'Basque' and 'Bustier'. In all these cases, my preference is for the first word rather than the second.

And I have done an empirical test by feeling which word has the greatest effect on my own panties, when I use it when purchasing in a lingerie shop.
