Flying into Santiago over the Andes has to be one of the great flights into a city anywhere in the world. The snow capped peaks are simply stunning. Once landed, Santiago is not the most attracive of cities, however the locals are friendly - if you make the effort. This morning I was shown around town by a waitress i met at lunch yesterday. I know I've made a friend, probably, for life. Just goes to show ... you reap what you sow in life...
