Rita's Birthday at weekend so took taxi to hotel at 2ish - planning to go to Hockney exhibition, though friend rang to day it was rubbish! Checked in and headed down to Burger and Lobster ( new Goodmans gastropub in Mayfair) for lunch. Great lobster and buzzy venue. Back to hotel - watched TV and then got ready to meet couple from AH site at 8.30. They arrived, chatted - drank champagne and thoroughly enjoyed their company and were looking forward to get to know eacg other better later !- and then Ox arrived. Went downstairs to meet whole bunch of friends. Bar not very busy because of snow outside. Drank loads of champagne, C's - laughed , chatted and danced. Party ended around 1pm. We went to room - had a lot of fun and played and swapped for about an hour and then Rit hit the buffers and just lost all her energy as sometimes happened - so sadly called it a day!
On Sunday we both woke up with hangovers! Struggled down for brunch at midday and then took AD home. Very quiet afternoon watching 6 Nations and Rita slept. In evening saw good film on DVD " Faces in the Crowd" - early bed and slept. Rit's period began. What timing !
