When I came out to my employer about 5 years ago I asked if I could come to work as s girl. They were happy to let me but gave me three rules. Firstly I had to wear black tights, not stockings. Secondly I had to wear knee length skirts and thirdly I could not wear over the knee boots. As any body else tried going to work dressed.
