Bit late with our update - sometimes life is hard for everyone

So we had our Anniversary present to each other thoroughly planned with 2 meets on the cards and a long weekend away to enjoy ourselves.
Where should we start - Drive down was fine, Accommodation was perfect, things were going well and the excitement and nerves were kicking in. We were meeting a single female the next day and a couple the day before last.  We had spent many week getting to know them and we had become friends and made good connections with each other. We settled down with drinks on our first night and messaged the female to arrange the finer details of the meet. Sadly for us all, she messaged back that she was too ill to meet but she hoped to be well enough to meet before the end of our break. 
Undeterred we messaged the couple the next day... twice, but no reply. 
Although our break away was thoroughly enjoyed we were disappointed that neither of the meets occurred. At one point we questioned.. was it us? 
However we are now still in touch with both our anniversary ''non meets'' and after talking discovered it was down to life/nerves on their part and still plan to meet in the future. 

Some meets can take you by surprise and happen within days (if your brave enough) Other meets may take months and don't always go to plan. Don't be disheartened as there's someone out there for everyone. 

Our pre-anniversary surprise meet went so well we look forward to her second visit at the end of the month.
