I've been here for over a week now and I'm assessing if it's worthwhile me hanging around or just going back to to my old, hidden self.
One of the main things I probably need to do if I decide to stay will be to revamp my profile. It's obviously not interesting or attractive enough. Real contact outside of the automated messaged has been limited and has mostly of the "you're not my type to be honest". I suppose a large part of that is being a solo male in a site dominated by couples or couples looking for bi girls. We're not in great demand.
Positives:
- Probably the easiest navigation of any adult site I've been on.
- Active moderators and fun regular competitions (one of which I was fortunate to win).
- The chat rooms are something you don't get on other sites.
Negatives:
- Upgrading to VIP isn't really possible for me as even the safe way the payment would appear mentions the word dating. A no go if you don't want your partner to find out about this.
- The free chat rooms can be dominated by certain individuals and can be cliquey. New members find it hard to break in to this dominant inner circle.
- Too many Introduction messages which the non-VIP members cannot read anyway.
So, I'll keep on hanging around until I make my final decision and blog an update on that nearer the time of my competition winning free VIP period. (thanks for that guys, totally unexpected).
