I am not really into having coffee with anyone prior to a play meet without having had established a sexual connection. I know it may sound unfriendly or that it may seem that I simply throw caution to the wind. Let me explain.

A casual chat over coffee isn't the opportune moment for my secret, sex-hungry animal side to show itself. I actually find it easy to converse about topics surrounding our mundane existence. Work, travel, the interesting people that we meet from the site, etc. Convos like these only relax people, not create delightful, sexual tension that would ignite the play room.

I actually prefer chats done online, maybe even over the phone, so I could find out what my play partner and I both enjoy doing, what I desire to be done to me and how I could reciprocate. Ideally, this mental dance of seduction would follow the moment my partner and I have that feeling that we would click. And that connection would have had to take place the moment we say 'hello' to each other.

I have been turned off by easy talk dozens of times. I believe that if a good (read: dirty) first impression is what one is after, then it should be done when there is time to think carefully what to say, ask, clarify, or even negotiate.

Coffee when we meet? Sure, how about after a full intercourse and dessert to follow?
