I blame it on the heat. I’ve been sweating all day, a few glasses of wine really go to my head! I had to jump in, I can feel the blood in my veins throbbing.
A swimsuit? Who can bother with togs at this hour?! I strip off my confining bra, my tank top, peel off my shorts and pull down my underwear.
This is the perfect hour to go swimming. The water is warm and silky and slides off my limbs like silk. I can stretch and balance and contort into impossible poses.
And finally my core temperature has come down.
