Christmas

Merry Christmas to one and all.
I know Christmas is all about excess and presents and commercialism and all the other shite but saying Merry Christmas is a genuine expression of goodwill to all.
That's why I'm saying it. A gesture of goodwill to all.
In the Great War 1914 to 1918 the British soldiers and German soldiers ceased fighting and played a goodwill game of football (Britain 4 Germany 0 btw). Christmas may have lost its religious significance as Jesus' birthday but it does for most remain a time to put differences to one side and enjoy the winter break.
