You know you wake some mornings and the world seems full of possiblities. It's like the life the universe is waiting to greet you with open arms and everything is possible. That's how I feel today, right now. I don't have that special person in my life, but I think I can be patient and he or she will come when I least expect him or her.
I feel it growing between my legs
a ceaseless aching
a yearning a tireless urging
that never goes away but like the tide
it ebbs and flows
one moment rushing forward an overpowering force
the next it fades retreating
into the emptiness
spilling into a bottomless void
and again crashes over me and I'm lost in its power
driven into its vastness and just when I think I can stand no more
it dissipates
and I am left breathless
