Swingers and how to recognise them

My travels through work I meet a lot of women repairing their appliances. It is said that a gay man can get visual messages from potential encounters by what the other person is wearing. The placing of certain garments located about their person, do swingers have such a code? So when I am out an about will pick up on these cues :)
