Why are the gorgeous Irish women so difficult?

I have been living in Ireland now for 8 years and have found that there are very gorgeous, very flirty women here who are ultra friendly until the magic word s*x crops up.
There seems to be a lot of conditioning that needs to be broken down, albeit gently, around the subject.
If any of you lovely Irish ladies of any age would like to advise me where to start I would appreciate it. I thing you are very homely, cuddly creatures, and would like to get further that a fleeting acquaintance with you, just one at a time.
I notice that there are a ot of complaints about husbands, so is the Irish male a problem for you?
