Getting started on this site

Well this is my first blog since joining the site, so far I have completed my basic profile and done some initial searches. Progress is slow but I am going to persist as I am sure there will be some lovely people out there who are more than willing to help me with an introduction to the outdoor fun scene. So if you are out there living reasonably locally then please please get in touch and show me the ropes......
