Gremlins in my computer on this site......

Is it just me.....or does it seem their are gremlins on this site??!!
People it says I "last viewed" which I haven't ......
Generic messages it says I've sent by "liking a profile" which I haven't
Me viewing our joint profile, which I haven't....why would I need to.......
Is the site trying to drum up some action so we don't cancel our membership or so others subscribe to a membership?
Hmmmmmm.......and on another note, what is the point of "blocking" a user.....if they can view your profile every single day and still send you messages?
My rant for the day......I must need a good spanking!

Your post is very similar to mine. I have views and messages from people who are not even looking for men ! Plus from people who are not even on line , I believe it's site generated, as you say to get us to buy full membership to read the messages.

Hi MrsNewbies02,

Thanks for your post. We recently launched a new “Promote Me” feature. We mailed members on Monday with the details on it as it happens.

The idea is that the site can sendor not send an introduction message for you to matching members depending on what you choose. It will go to people who match your Interests and agedistance (also in settings).

See the Promotion tab in the settings area.

You might want to choose No Promotion or Incognito mode if you’re getting a lot of unwanted attention and if you have more than one Profile on the site.

We do find that this feature does increase the likelihood of people getting in touch and meeting up as well as reduces the time you have to spend searching, but it might not be the most appropriate setting for you.

All the Introduction messages that are sent out are always marked with an icon (looks like a paper airplane) in your mailbox, which marks them differently from your personal one to one messages. See the Mailbox legend on the Mailbox page for a link to the FAQ. You can choose not to receive these also in Settings - Mail.

Someone from the team is looking into the Blacklist user issue you reported. If you are receiving unwanted andor abusive communication, please report it to the help desk and we’ll take the appropriate action.

In summary I’d recommend having a good look through your Settings area as you can control a lot from there.
