Us Filipinos for that matter. In an age where practically every commercial, billboard, or ever other form of mass media has a sexual suggestion, we still cringe when someone taks about sex. We look down on others who had, or is having, sex outside of a relationship, or with many people at once. We call them b*tches, sluts, playboys and other derogatory names out there. When is it ever wrong to pursue pleasure? Yes, some folks have unique fetishes, but who are we to judge them in pursuing those desires. I had friends who are open to discuss about their sexual fantasies, but are being judged because of it. i'd say our culture makes it difficult for us to handle such freedom. which is why im so thankful for this site! its about time people like me (separated single mom) have the chance to have fun without having to worry about what people might think! when i got separated, i thought - am i going to be a celibate until my dying day?? after living in sin before getting married, this is what i am bound for??Glad to know its not!! haha cheers!

Phil is right. Its how the church holds this country of ours at its core. Everything about sex is evil specially those out of wedlock. Even contraceptives are condemed.

I wouldn't say this is unique to your culture. I mean, really---how many people in the UK, America, etc are open about any lifestyle other than the mainstream one? I tell only a select few I am on this site, for example. And they mostly tend to be younger, more open minded people at that. Of those I do tell, I don't tell any details.....that would go against the status quo.
