Blog etiquette to help us get it

I've been trying to post a blog also, just can't figure it out.. and the one time I thought I got it, it never showed up in the blog section. Any advice or help would be great.. :)

Write from your heart. Be original. Be open minded. Interract with the people who reply. Don't be upset if the blog doesn't take the direction you expected it to. And most importantly .......... Enjoy it!!!!

Btw the way you've just written your first blog, so welcome new bloggers! :-) x

Lillie's right, you don't have to be an expert in the use of the written word, but don't be tempted to over use img src="imagesadultemoticons030.gif" , img src="imagesadultemoticons014.gif" or img src="imagesadultemoticons002.gif" .

Feel free to use img src="imagesadultemoticons008.gif" as often as you like, it's a personal favourite of mine :-)

And if you write a long thought out blog that takes ages to write make sure you save a copy before posting! They will occassionally vanish in the realm of the mystical Blog Monster. If you have a back up you can always repost...... Otherwise you end up cursing at swearing at your pc like an eejit (Voice of experience speaking) img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

Much good advice from bloggers who I have a lot of respect for.You would do well to emulate. Don't take any notice of mine,I am a rambling fool with very esoteric not to say strange notions, but you may in time,aspire to become an acquired taste if you have odd or unusual things which you wish to express and which entertain and amuse.
A little tip,most enjoy some sauciness and a little smut but stay clear of being downright gross and crude.

As long as you don't write a blog about "shaved v. smooth" or one that has copious references to foodstuffs, you should be OK :-)

Skebbie. I don't like peaches with fluff on them Does this contravene your ban about foodstuffs and " shaven or unshaven ? "

indepth .You are quite right ! It's called " The Tomatina " Only 2 rules 1. Tomatoes must be squashed before they are thrown 2.Ladies must wear a top or Tee shirt, preferably without a bra so that the onlookers ( like myself ) can get a good eyeful when they squirt them with water ! I hope Chris will let me know when she is participating in this ! My tomatoes are poised and ready !

On a serious note and after the bull run at Pamplona was mentioned " Come on,you bulls ! Get stuck into 'em !! " I was appalled by the wanton killing of Cecil the Lion by that bloody American dentist and would happily smash his own teeth down his throat for this despicable deed !

Bears (and anyone else) please feel free to blog as much as you want. At the moment the blogs world needs as many new contributors and ideas as it can get. Don't worry if you post something that has already been covered as you will soon be told about it. Just accept the learning curve or perhaps a new slant on an old subject might make it interesting again.

It's always a good idea to visit your blog once in a while to check its direction (always a surprise) and at the very least acknowledge that other members have taken the time to contribute.

Oh, and take no notice of Officer Skebbie from Blogland Yard, if you want to make a comment about foodstuffs, go ahead. :-)
