WHAT REALLY PUTS YOU OFF?

1. A lady acting and behaving like "one of the lads ".Trying to tell bawdy jokes, making a big thing about being able to drink any man under the table.Language is important too." I need to powder my nose " so much more feminine than " I'm off for a piss ! "
2. Although I pride myself on being tolerant of other people's opinions, I find that women who state their views over-stridently,in an extremist or over-bearing and aggresive fashion, a bit of a turn-off .
3, Bad breath,body odour, stale clothes,farting then saying "Oops ! I just let one rip ! ".Belching after a meal are fairly obvious things guaranteed to make one's libido,hit the ground with a resounding thud !

2. Talking all about herself that she is this she is that, she likes this, pretending to be super dooper extra ordinary someone which really cooks me up!
3. No style, no accent, not trendy and all..

I forgot to mention one of my biggest turn-offs.Whilst long ,well-manicured finger nails are attractive and sexy,I cannot abide women who don't pay attention to their toe nails,allowing them to grow way beyond the front of their sandals or strappy shoes, only slapping successive layers of nail varnish on these ever-extending talons. This does not mean I'm a foot fetishist,only that long,unkempt toenails make me feel somewhat queasy !

Ohh yes i also forgot to mention one of my most BIGGEST turn off!!
Undone upper lips, hairy arms or legs or hairy body. Somehow i dont mind a bush on pussy but otherwise hairy girls are the biggest turn off!!

I admire your pluck in travelling 6000 miles for a date: something I definitely wouldn't contemplate unless I knew for sure there was a strong connection.

However, hypothetically speaking, I suppose that if I were in your situation, the main passion-killer for me would be that I'd been totally misled with regard to my paramour's physical attributes (primarily age, body type, and body condition). One can have a fantastic rapport via mail and share many opinions and philosophies, but if that first face-to-face moment leaves you sadly let down, then it's not going to happen (at least as far as I'm concerned). This is why I'm such a stickler for good communication (based on previous let-downs).

Long-distance trysts no doubt have their romantic appeal, but they can also be crushingly disappointing if you haven't done your homework.

Skebbie, I am not going to the UK to meet one person...hahaha I am going to the UK mainly to see my family and friends from the time I used to live there :)

2. Intolerance and extremism
3. Lack on genuine intrest and interaction (with conversation stopping,,,,...even at body language level).....or being distracted by other men while chatting..hahahhahah

Dont know about insecurity..that could be a temporary thing or nervousness.....

I cant imagine any off these apply to freeforpleasure,,, :-)

OK. I can't think of one more thing to write here in relation to things that would put me off, all have been mentioned...

In a way it is exciting to meet someone who potentitally could impress you in so many ways. I am just hoping to be surprised in good ways and not bad ones :) I do admire so many qualities and it is quite sad to think I could be put off by something that is a little superficial but essential.

Nervous? I suppose I am....Expecting a lot? I try not to....Excited? Definitely....It almost feels like the end of my journey and experience here to be honest. Free... After being on here for some time I would have to say make sure you both are on the same page. One misleading subject will derail it all. Keep an open mind about it all. But personal hygiene is high on the list. I agreeing the men, manipedis a must ( for u men too) , hair trimmed, brush or removed, breathe, body Odor and clothing that fits the occasion. Neat clean and pressed. This is like a job interview.... Ur first impression and best foot forward.

So basically its effort. If you can't be bothered to make yourself look your best. Can't be bothered to treat the other person with every courtesy they deserve. Can't be bothered to make the most of an opportunity you should feel privileged to receive then don't be surprised that the other person will feel let down and ultimately be turned off.

I would agree with oldschoolfun,,,of course how cluld i disagree...but then again....it is more then just appaerence....if it is just only decoration and the genuine interest and chemistry is lacking then I prefer someone in ragged jeans and faded T who is truely open, curious and interested. But of course not with sirty finger nails, body smells and the downer list that has emerged here,,

FFP....my mother said something similar....how clean teeth were and his shoes.... How funny it is to hear that saying from around the world.... Different takes on it. Amen to that! That relates to work, sex life, daily life and long term relationship. We all as humans have the same goal I think..... To love and be loved!!! To sum it all id just say first impressions really matter alot. So id xpect both parties to give it 100%..
Turn off would be uncleanliness.
Constantly on phone and not paying attention.
I love very good personal hygeine. So if i can make d effort to look smart and clean..the other party should also. Unless they arent really interested.. the effort people put on dates..basically shows how much effort they would put in the relationship.

there are things that turn me off, many of them have already been listed above, but I rather not htink of that when getting ready to meet someone new. I have discovered through my life that a possitive mindset beats everything.
