To be Bi-curious or not to be Bi-curious

Ok people, here's another psycho poser.... When we see the term bi-curious we assume (I've been assuming) that it means someone who is heterosexual but interested in same sex play.

Does it work for anyone the other way round. Any gay people who have always thought of themselves as homosexual, but starting to become interested or having thoughts about opposite sex play?
