Well hello fearless reader, you have decided to enter the realm of a person who is interested in a variety of things.
Recent History
What you might ask, well let me tell you. Back in 2000, I decided to learn how to drive a semi truck, yes seventy feet of truck in total. Since then I have been in almost every state in the contagious United States. The few exceptions are Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Delaware. Until late 2001, I was busy learning the back roads of Ohio and Michigan on an account out of Fremont, Ohio. Well trucking being what it is another company underbid the one I was working for and so the route ended. While I could go to a different route, or switch companies to stay with the route I had, I instead decided to go back to school. Sure you can make a lot of money driving a truck, but the personal time sucks.
For a while I worked as a farmer, my brother-in-law and I worked his families farm. The first thing I have found out is that farming is expensive, not just in equipment either. As an update on the farming, the rain slowed us down a bit but the fields are now planted and the corn and soybeans are growing well. Unfortunitly it seems we got it all in just in time for a drought, as his father says, "that's farming." We finally made a real profit with a last check from the government the year after we actually worked the fields.
While I was farming I also worked at a meat counter, which was a very enlightening experience, I finally know the differences between cuts of meat. After that I drove a dump train around South East to Central Michigan, as well as the Toledo area. A dump train is a dump truck with 6 or 7 axles that pulls a dump pup trailer with 4 or 5 axles. It was long hours, but the money was decent. Then winter came and it was just too cold to spend time digging clay out of a dump box after it has frozen into the box.
I most recently worked as a dispatcher for midsize trucking company. It was a job that kept you constantly on your toes trying to keep up with mechanicals as well as the driver issues. Currently I am collecting unemployment due to an unjust firing from there. Still looking for a new job to replace that one.
Interests
What else you may ask, well let me tell you. I am an Eagle Scout (once you are, you are, never was) so I can tie a wide variety of knots, and I have always been able to light a fire (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more). I am also a bookaholic. I devour science fiction and fantasy books with an appetite known by few. I also read things that interest me, from historical texts to cookbooks based in folklore. I also love the outdoors, hiking, camping, boating, and swimming. I hope to learn scuba in the future in order to spend some more time under the water. I have had several hundred gallons of tropical fish tanks in the past, breeding bettas and gouramis. I have also gotten very interested in Genealogy, I have managed to add several generations to ours so far and have begun tracing forward a bit, who knows I might even be related to you.
About You
Enough about me how about you, I am looking for someone that can hold up an intelligent conversation, knowing current events. They will be submissive in nature, as to how much and how often I don't know yet that would depend on the person. I am looking for an eventual partner in life, (sounds a little funny, a submissive partner), one who is intelligent to know enough to make the decision that I would make if I was there. Not to dither around watching the water rise knowing I had banned her from the phone instead of sensibly calling a plumber. I would prefer her to be close to my age as to how close, again depends on the person. Now a lot of people would go into body type here, hair and all that garbage, and that is what it is, garbage. I am not saying that it isn't important, it is. I am simply saying that most women are beautiful in their own way.
Now that said is that the only thing that I am looking for, no it is not. Yes it would be great to find someone and say that is it, you are the person I have been looking for all my life, now I can finally stop looking. We all know that isn't going to happen right away, so until that sort of thing happens, I will take things as they come.
