A dimple, a mole, a birthmark, a case of heterochromia... What all these things have in common is that they are considered physical imperfections. I've met and heard of people who would find some of these annoying, but to me, they make the person appear more attractive. Is it unusual? No. Everyone has different tastes. A simple mole which seems to be haphazardly placed on someone's face, can serve as a beauty mark. I've seen many individuals with beauty marks, and so-called imperfections to some. Albinism is genetic, but I find people sporting it to be attractive.
It's all in our individual mind's eye to deem who is attractive.
Don't be insecure with your "flaws" because I'm sure there are people out there whom will find those imperfections a part of your whole attractive self. :)

For me, I think a more logical explanation would be that people just associate these minor tolerable 'flaws' of the person with their character. So you wouldn't be attracted immediately solely because of the imperfection, but because of the uniqueness of the person in order for the flaw to be overlooked. I'm just saying that flaws can be tolerated but it doesn't mean the immediate reason for attraction. It can either consolidate or depreciate the attraction to a person I guess. |
