Inconsequential nonsense

10:15 pm Tuesday, 12th May, 2015

Forgive me swingers for my blog-muscle is weak.
It is more than 40 days since my last blog.

Sooooooo ... I was thinking that maybe we should look at blog where we try to decide that the BEST blog topic ever was.
I am sure that shaved/not-shaved is going to be in there as is everyone's opinion of those who do not turn up, or are simply rude ... but ... what about the thought provoking ones that many newer member may have missed?

So .. what was the BEST blog topic ever?

I have to say I liked Joe's blog on kisses.

1:35 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

For me it was SunShines 'what's in a voice' blog or Luv2's 'Like' blog

Mac has your ' blog-muscle' teamed up and done a bunk with sunshines missing 'blog mojo' that she posted about last year, just a thought as AJ was last holding it to ransom and looking to be paid in custard for it's release (hahaha) :-)

4:09 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

I would have to say I loved Lillie's blog "How did you end up on this website". It was a great way to know the way people made it to the site. Great stories. :)

Now, I know it is not very impartial from me but I like one of my blogs with "The craziest excuse not to show up". I laughed and I was amazed at some of those stories of the excuses people give.

Eg: I do still remember that blog from Joe. I am still trying to get that kiss too :P

4:23 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Skebbie's Urban Dictionary is worth a visit.

4:32 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

I must say I like the wide and disparate variety of topics to be found on the blogs. They afford the opportunity for an opinionated, know-it-all,twat like myself to express views despite having no knowledge of the subject Maybe I should have stood in the last election and found a natural home in the House of Commons !

5:00 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Fetch, you're too honest to be a politician.

"Know-it-all twat"
i'm keeping that one for later? I know just the person ...

6:43 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Also liked SunShine's voice blog. And I never did get my custard MrHappy! Also enjoyed the blog on bad fashion taste, think it was by Lil'G?
And Luv2's blog on string showed you could make a silk purse out of a sows ear....
Trying desperately to think of others as its been so long since the golden age of blogs....

6:50 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

And didn't we all have a guilty pleasure type liking of funtimes and his legendary Top Tips blogs? ........ Didn't we???

10:33 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

I tend to like so many, though not a fan of any which are just blatant meet advertisement or one sentence efforts (not much effort goes into one-liners of that sort!!)
Oddly i still remember the first blog i commented on was by 'Curvy' as one does love 'Secret Garden' still. A special mention to one Luv2 wrote (can't remember the name) was about 'self love', now now you lot keep it clean, as it wasn't about self pleasure lol. I just Love Joes 'Kiss' blog, after all one does love kissing :-) x

10:40 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

M&M's are a poor substitute for Smarties Mac aren't they!? :-) x
Joe please return my 'Mojo'. Just realised i haven't posted a blog in almost a year :'( Note to self......Must try harder! :-)

11:37 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Not been here long i missed most of the 'golden age', have went back and read many members 'old' blogs, see i wasn't perving on 'your' profile i was just reading your blogs, well that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it ;-)
I have enjoyed getting to know some through the blogs as i feel it helps to gain a better sense of the person who wrote them.
I love em all for a variety of reasons, though some leave a bad taste in my mouth.... a job lot of Pickle flavoured jelly springs to mind AJ.
I found Skebbies Brawn,Brylcream and Bravado blog was interesting reading. As was SSG's first ever blog.
Some of the witty comments most blogs are what keeps me coming back over & over again (Graham,Joe, MYS, Fetch, MacB,Frisky & lill and Luv2 to name a few have all tickled my funny bone at times, thank you all!) Have so add AJ's Kiss blog was a big hit with me when i read it as some of the descriptions as to how some of you feel about kissing was just awesome

11:40 am Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Grrr * have to add

3:54 pm Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Or was it not more like a 'music festival' SS. Was a good one.

4:20 pm Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Choc I think you will find that Funtimes is now employed by Newcastle United who are currently following his "Top Tips to running a Successful Premiership Football Club". Good to see he is still just as fruitful.... Seriously always made me laugh though!

I would never suggest you had bad taste LilG but do remember having a damn good rant about that blog whoever wrote it. Was better than any Counsellor or Psychiatrist could ever hope to achieve!

If you wanted hot & steamy blogs then Gilli & Curvy were the ones who cornered that genre...... Phwoar!

Also Rons Milk Tray Man blog brought a few smiles :-)

4:22 pm Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

I think what it boils down to is that a blog is always going to be greater than what it sets out to achieve if the dramatis personae are motivated and fired up. Sometimes it happens and sometimes not. I think that people tended to spark on all four cylinders more often about 18 months back, but that was simply because there was a great blend of participants. It may well come together again, but who knows? I have a few potential blogs in the pipeline, but they are more of the thought-provoking variety and I'm not sure that now is the time to air them. Later and further down the line, perhaps....?

Incidentally, I'm assuming rumours of Luv2's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Obviously some people just can't stay away, and as usual I'm always the last to know because I'm never in chat :-)

7:58 pm Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Skebbie postcard get did not you?
(By the way Skebbie auto corrects to She Bite ... very apt eh?). :-)

10:15 pm Wednesday, 13th May, 2015

Have to say i like Lilith's straight to the point, shoot from the hip approach as they can be such a great source of amusement.
Heck is it just me...... i couldn't believe the number of people that have deleted their profile when looking back on 'old blogs' was rather surprising! One can't help but wonder if they have been sucked into a black hole in the blogosphere or did the blog monster eat them for his supper lol :-) x

5:11 am Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Luv2: Was wondering whether autocorrect had also bitten your opening sentence. Or was it your 5th G&T? :-)
Anyway I went ratching around in your profile in search of the said postcard but it didn't turn up. Otherwise nothing much seems to have changed, so if you've been and gone - and then returned again - I'd never have been any the wiser :-)

6:09 am Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Snailmail ... the joys of being a Classic. :-)

BlokeMac - you blame only have to yourself
(It's harder than you think!! Ask Lillie)

6:10 am Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Blokemac - got you blame have to yourself only
(It's harder than you think!)

6:12 am Thursday, 14th May, 2015

The G&T was to blame for the double entry!!

7:29 am Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Salut ! (hic).
G&T - the breakfast of champions :-)

12:44 pm Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Mac your 'Pants' blog was a giggle. You guys and your undies :-)

12:48 pm Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Oh heck...Not that i mean your 'Pants' blog was pants (as in crap) but that the blog was about just that...PANTS.
Damn now i'm 'panting' due to panic in case i cause offence lol :-) x

9:13 pm Thursday, 14th May, 2015

The pants blog was great. You ladies never knew what predicaments us blokes got into until then. You done well to open their eyes to ur trouble lives Mac ;-)

The blog naming a certain ladies hot, steamy, spluttering machine also brought more than a smile to my face :-D

Welcome back Lilith! Any blog that had even the remotest bit of effort & originality always seemed to veer off into random hilarity. Lets hope that this "inconsequential" blog, as well as seem to reunite a few old faces, rekindles the blogging world.

10:56 pm Thursday, 14th May, 2015

Count me in LilG ....... Good thing about Tardis is that we can all fit in!

Bet they weren't from M&S Choc!!!!!

4:02 am Friday, 15th May, 2015

Don't panic Skebbie i don't bat for the other team but i remember reading an old blog that made me laugh at all you lot but couldn't remember the title so had to peek at your profile to get to your blogs.

Skebbies 'I don't mind golfers' blog was funny started off with clothes and ended with midgies and bagpipes, with a near endless list many posts long from Joe in the middle. Can't forget to mention 'Pans poncing' haha

4:08 am Friday, 15th May, 2015

MrHS: Thanks. Yes that was a goodie, but again it seemed to strike a chord with many people and they all pitched in to comic effect. A genuine group effort :-)

6:53 am Friday, 15th May, 2015

Primark ones have a built-in breaking point for health and safety purposes Choc. Nothing to do with shoddy material or stitching.....

That was the bad fashion sense blog I was talking about MrHS! I got a bit carried away on that one img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

8:59 am Friday, 15th May, 2015

Yes Mac. I'd noticed that the Choc guy was acting as a medium through which previous Bloggies were trying to communicate from The Afterlife.

3:02 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Brings new meaning to 'he who dares' Mac after all i'm not used to peeking at male profiles. But sometimes a mans got to do what a mans got to do lol.

3:18 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

I peep at male profiles all the time to suss out the opposition and to get a better idea of women's tastes in men by scanning their friends lists. The gents in question probably doubt my motives, but often it's very informative. This process is central to my "scavenging" technique for finding potential mates. I let the alpha-males congregate around the female, and then I sneak in while they're all strutting around too busy flexing their muscles to notice :-)

4:51 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

As does a this woman MrHappy, would be rude not to, wouldn't it? ;-)

So Skebbie were you involved in the making or the though behind that naff TV programme 'Scavenger hunt'? lol

4:53 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Miss out the bloody *'a' Grrr

5:00 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

FFs * thought behind

5:22 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Not au fait with UK TV progs unless it's Dr Who or Blue Peter :-)

6:36 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Did you make that one earlier Skebbie? Thats the one thing i remember best from Blue Peter (other than the dogs and tortoise)... they were always prepared if nothing else lol
I've never been a big fan of Dr Who as the Daleks and cybermen used to have me ducking behind the sofa as they scared the living daylights ouf of me!! img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

7:36 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

I liked Take Hart or more so Morf as i've never been an arty-farty person. Tony's teachings never did work out when i tried them, hell i have trouble drawing matchstick men lol

10:10 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Yet again i can't remember who wrote the blog but have a wee feeling it was either Luv2 or Lishy....was about where we store out toys.
I may spend the weekend peeping at old blogs, then see if i can find my 'mojo' and come up with blog idea, so brace yourself you lot as i may be paying a visit to your profile so as to gain access to your blogs, honest i shall avert my eyes and not peep at your profile pics. ;-) x

10:11 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

Ooops * our toys

10:18 pm Friday, 15th May, 2015

I know it's early Mac & it might just be my imagination but I think you might've just kick started the blogs out of their comatose...... Good work fella!

4:45 am Saturday, 16th May, 2015

Would agree with Joe, but has anyone noticed a seasonality to blog creativeness? In the depths of winter there seemed to be so much apathy and a lack of creativity, so was wondering whether everyone was suffering from "seasonal affective disorder" :-) Now the weather is getting warmer again, perhaps the spring surge of hormonal nutrients has jump-started the old cerebral neurons :-)

7:41 am Saturday, 16th May, 2015

Mary, Mungo and Midge!

Will come back to the subject of seasonal affective disorder late; I'm busy brushing leaves from the drive today :-)

1:50 pm Saturday, 16th May, 2015

Joe's blog 'To wish for impossible things' .....here's hoping our somewhat common 'wish' for the blogs to return to anything near the 'golden age' comes to fruition! :-) x

10:06 pm Saturday, 16th May, 2015

Everything is Possible. Where there is a will there is a way. I hope you all get to enjoy the blogs in the way you all say they were. From what i seen when reading over some of 'your' old blogs as i for one would enjoy them as they were back in the 'golden age'img src="imagesadultemoticons001.gif"

12:18 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

Here's a thing Mac....I'm trying to abstain from making any sexual innuendos, but damn it's hard...so hard ;-) x

2:11 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

Or is that wishful thinking on your part Sunshine? ha ha :-)

2:56 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

Have a feeling that there would be a host of very willing men that would love to make Sunshines wish come true then MrH

7:27 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

Oi leave my knickers out of this! As one wouldn't wish anyone to go off half cocked Mac, so hope they have made sure their weapon is in tip top condition and fully cocked which i'm sure would be prefered by any discerning woman. After all we are hard task masters so can be very hard to please or satisfy our needs ;-) x

9:17 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

So the 3 main requirements of a good blog are:
1. Silliness - Is there any other kind of blog? They all end up silly eventually.
2. Innuendo - It will always come if you keep it going.
3. General Interest - I thought all we were interested in was Silliness & Innuendo? Is there more???

Be careful on that fence SSG there might be splinters & then one of us would have to volunteer to help with First Aid duties hunting it out & removing it.....

9:23 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

WOW you two are going deep. Have we an innuendo duel happening right in front of us? Deep breaths and fully cocked weapons at the ready.
Could have been worse SSG, was waiting for you to say MacB couldn't have seen your knickers as you don't have any on lo

9:26 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

'hunting it out & removing it.

Here's a hint AJ, pull down the zip as it's in your pants img src="imagesadultemoticons021.gif"

9:36 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

should add 'pant's' being trousers mine just happen to have zips on the pockets lol
I'm sure someone will offer to help you find it if you are struggling AG ;-)

9:51 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

Or even *AJ

10:35 pm Sunday, 17th May, 2015

'I've been fairied' are you trying to tell us something Mac? No don't imagine you were and that any suggestion that you were playing for the other team is just bollox!!

8:43 am Monday, 18th May, 2015

Oh my Choco are you feeling ok? Bloomin never thought i'd hear the day that you gave up on your beloved chocolate or is it some sort of painpleasure torture you are enjoying?
In truth i'm not a chocolate lover it's strawberries that tickle my fancy if i need a bite of sweetness :-) x

12:55 pm Tuesday, 19th May, 2015

Never thought I'd hear the day that Choc gave up chocolate!!!!! img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"
Is it just for a limited amount of time Mr Choc with a KitKat overload at the end or is this a long term life change? If it is I'm selling all my shares in Nestle..... They'll be bankrupt within 6 months!!!!
And you'd better find yourself a new tailor!

6:15 pm Tuesday, 19th May, 2015

I'm sure someone will offer to measure you up for size after your chocolate free spell Choco, be careful that they take down your particulars in the correct manner so they are a good fit lol

7:26 pm Tuesday, 19th May, 2015

Take it you just happen to have a tape measure to hand BB lol

12:47 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

Try Terrys Chocolate Orange & have the best of both worlds..........

1:05 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

Now you have gone and done it AJ, you will set someone off in a tizzy as even strawberries their appeal when they are tempted by 'Terrys Chocolate Orangeimg src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

1:09 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

Joe it's NOT 'Terrys' it's mine all mine mwahahaimg src="imagesadultemoticons012.gif"

1:22 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

ROFLOL too funny SueChris!!!

I bid 1p :-) x

1:49 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

Sorry Sunshine but I'll raise the bid up to 2p lol

3:12 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

S'n'C is it a nice fresh Rolo or one that you found in your coat pocket covered in fluff and dust with the wrapper melted into it?

I do hope you all realise that this blog is probably torture to Mr Choc and his chocolate fast! img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

3:45 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

'Fluff'? Can't help but ask what kind of fluff you are referring to MacB

As for torture AJ, don't we start to taste first with our eyes? Choco i'm sure can imagine the taste of all the chocolate that he reads in the comments, better that than never being able to imagine the taste of such sweet treats don't you think?
After all some can but imagine some of the delights to be had on this site!

6:07 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

MacB that thought is just Eeeww really, i've just had my dinner and kind of wanted to keep it!!

WOW S&C a 'virgin' on a site like this....well i never lol

6:12 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

Bloody hell Lill i'm shocked.
Thanks for the education but think i'll try squeeze my cheeks tighter than ever to avoid being subjected to any 'courtesy farts' img src="imagesadultemoticons026.gif"

7:35 pm Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

I was wondering whether etymologically there's a link between "courtesy fart" and "sympathy fuck" :-)
